Clinical study of vaginal adnexectomy(posterior colpotomy)

Abstract
|
|
|
A clinical study was made on 16 cases of vaginal adnexectomy( posterior colpotomy) at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Daegu Fatima Hospital during the period from Dec. 1992 to May, 1993.
@ES The results obtained were as follows;
@EN The average age o patients were 35 years old(26-48 years).
The most common indication of surgery was ovarian dermoid cyst 10 cases(62.5%) the others were ovarian mucinous cystadenoma 3 cases(18.7%), parovarian cyst 2 cases(12.5%) and ovarian serous cystadenoma 1 case(6.3%).
The average of operation time was 27 minutes(15-56 min).
The combined procedure was colporrhapy1 case(6.3%).
The average stat of hospital hospital was 1.8 days(1~3 days).
The vaginal adnexectomy is a quick, convenient method to decrease patient morbidity and postoperative stay than that of controls(50 patients treated with adnexal surgery through
laparotomy)
